AS A Rovers fan for the past 20 years, I cannot understand the harsh reaction to Graeme Le Saux and his subsequent transfer to Chelsea.
Graeme gave his all to Rovers over the past four years and helped us to glory we could only have dreamed of in years gone by. Graeme left because he felt the club's ambitions did not match his own - and, let's face it, if you worked for a company that under-achieved, you wouldn't want to stay there.
The signing of Martin Dahlin to replace the legendary Alan Shearer was probably the clearest indication of the club's ambitions, or, rather, lack of them.
I, for one, will give him a standing ovation when Chelsea visit Ewood.
