WHAT's going on at Ewood?
I am disgusted at the way Blackburn Rovers are selling their top players.
First, David Batty, unquestionably the best midfielder on the books. Next, the hammer blow of selling Europe's top striker in Alan Shearer.
Then to top it all, selling two of our best defenders in Graeme Le Saux and Henning Berg to our Premiership rivals - just as the new season is getting under way.
All this instead of trying to sign more top players to strengthen the squad that only two seasons ago were Premier League champions.
We now have a manager who is unproven (in English football terms, anyway) signing unknown foreigners and injury-prone Scandinavian journeymen.
As a long-time season ticket holder, I would like to know just where the Board's ambition for the club has gone?
Whilst all we supporters are grateful and appreciate everything Jack Walker has done for our club, my question is this: Are we going to buy Europe's top players once more and challenge for honours or are we going to let the current situation drift on and just make up the numbers in the Premier League and settle for mid-table mediocrity?
