SCORES of mourners in Clayton-le-Moors turned out to pay their last respects to local character Eddie Robinson, who was murdered last month.
Friends, family and former work colleagues from Machine Fabricators lined Barnes Street as the cortege made its way to Accrington Crematorium.
Around 70 mourners filled the crematorium chapel, led by Mr Robinson's brothers, sisters and 11-year-old daughter Louise.
Dozens of floral tributes were placed on the doorstep of his Barnes Street home.
A huge bouquet of red roses from Louise carried a hand-written card which read: "Dear dad, I will never forget the good times we had, love Louise."
A 22-year-old local man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Mr Robinson -known locally as 'Steady Eddie' - on July 24.
