THERE is nothing new in today's youth drinking. This has been going on for some years now, and a lot of blood and teeth were lost with drink - and drugs.
You have only to look into the trouble and fights which went on outside the Dance Rock and Roll youth club, in Blackburn Road, Accrington.
They came from far and wide and under age drinking in pubs, clubs or getting the booze from off-licences was nothing new.
Today it's even easier to buy booze and supermarkets sell beers from around the world, pubs close their doors for after time drinking and licensed nightclubs are open even longer.
