WHAT is all the fuss about Oasis?
I come to work at about 7.30 every morning, and walk past Andys Records. Normally it is nice and quiet - almost the perfect way to start the day.
However, on Thursday I was appalled when I saw a long queue of scruffy, unwashed, unkempt youngsters who had dragged themselves out of their flea-infested pits and come into town, possibly less than two hours after they had downed their last alcopop.
What had inspired these teenagers with similar lifestyles to vampires (sleep all day, have a reluctance to go to church, go out at night and have a strange thirst for blood so they start fights) to go out in, of all things, daylight?
It was the new Oasis CD of course. They were spending £15 on a CD which contains 11 songs by a group who promote drugs, violence and alcohol abuse.
What wonderful role models.
