RED-hot food will be dished up to audiences at this weekend's blues festival in Colne.
Caterers are serving up a taste of America's deep south, the birthplace and home of the blues.
Chefs contacted the University of Mississippi for the recipes of dishes such as Blue Ridge Mountain Gumbo - spicy sausage, rice and cornbread - and giant, Texan-style burgers with 'red-hot momma' chilli sauce.
Other US meals on offer include larger-than-life sandwiches called po' boys, and, for pudding, Fat Man's Misery - rich chocolate cake and ice-cream.
Catering manager David Hough said: "This year we wanted to give festival-goers a genuine taste of the blues to make the event an even more memorable experience."
