A HELP-group for parents of twins is appealing for backing to enable it to survive.
The group, which currently caters for 16 families, has been holding meetings at Colne health centre, but it cannot afford to pay new room-hire charges.
Now the parents are hoping local businesses come forward to help.
Founder member Kate Sissons told us how important the group was. She said: "In April last year I was very shocked to hear the news that I was having twins. I spent much of my pregnancy in panic and didn't know where to turn for help and advice.
"I had my twin identical girls on New Year's Eve 1996. My health visitor, realising there were a lot of twins in the area, hired a room once a month for us to meet and swap advice. It was a Godsend to many of us.
"Now we have to pay for the hire of a room and may have to stop the club, which would be a great shame for parents and twins.
"We have so many ideas but we need help to get started."
