DANCE student Leanne Salisbury from Newton-le-Willows will be strutting her stuff in a number of unusual locations this autumn - thanks to a National Lottery grant.
Leanne is a member of the four-girl Trainspotting Dance Company based at the University of Wolverhampton who aim to make their unique style of contemporary dance more accessible to the public by presenting it in an innovative way.
As part of a university project earlier this year they performed in front of travellers at Birmingham New Street Station and caused such a stir that they were asked to appear on the regional Central News programme.
Then Leanne applied to the Arts for Everyone grants scheme, which is run by the National Lottery's Arts Council, in the hope that they could use the money to take their project on tour, visiting railway stations across the country.
And the troupe were awarded £3,600 and will now be kicking off their nationwide tour on September 11 at Manchester Piccadilly station before making further stops at Southampton, Cardiff, London, Leeds and Newcastle among others.
