A GROUP of young cyclists is gearing up to raise money for the homeless in St Helens.
Following on from the success of Gladrags '97 which raised £1,000 in April, the group are doing the sponsored bike ride of more than 30 miles from Haydock to Widnes and back.
The group will leave Sankey Valley by the Ship Inn on the A58 at 11am on Sunday, August 24, and any support will be appreciated.
The event is supported by Windlehurst Community Centre, Sankey Valley Rangers and Halfords Limited.
