PEOPLE are visiting Burnley's historic Queen Street Mill from the four corners of the Earth.
The factory, the last working steam-powered cotton mill in Britain and possibly the world, has attracted tourists from New Zealand, North America and the rest of Europe.
"A look at our visitors' book will tell you that we have had quite a few people from abroad," says keeper Ian Gibson.
"Most of them are quite stunned by the spectacle. They're impressed by the sheer size of it and the fact that they can watch looms in action and see how cotton was produced all those years ago."
A busy period is expected over the bank holiday - especially if it rains!
