THANK you for publishing my search for descendants of the Hession family (Letters, July 22). I received four letters as a result.
The first was from Mrs Evelyne Norse. Another was from her brother, Tony Hession, and yet another from a friend of the family who had also lost contact.
I had previously written to two funeral directors in Darwen and one of them read the letter as well.
The response was overwhelming - they were able to tell me of the burial details of where my lost family are; the only family that I knew and loved as a very young child.
My most sincere thanks for your part in this reunion.
