HARD drugs worth thousands of pounds were being smuggled into Britain under the cover of East Lancashire holidaymakers, it was revealed.
Tourists coming home from Spain were flocking through Manchester Airport, unaware that their flights could be shared by couriers carrying cocaine and heroin.
Customs men announced a counter-strike against package-tour trafficking.
