NICK Dougherty teamed up with Nick Faldo at the Forest of Arden today after a sensational victory in Faldo's Junior Classic Series.
The 15-year-old from Shaw Hill, near Chorley produced a sizzling second round of 69 in horrendous conditions to win the event in style.
His reward was a round with the three-times Masters and British Open champion and the outstanding golfer of the last 10 years.
"The greens were flooded and the course was playing so long - young Nick's 69 was fantastic," said a spokesman at the Forest of Arden.
"To produce a round like that, coupled with the fact that he's only 15, really highlights his potential.
"This morning all the youngsters had a clinic with Faldo and later today Faldo will partner Nick over 18 holes.
"It will be a real thrill for him - if young Nick plays as well as he did yesterday it might be a real thrill for Faldo too!"
Faldo took this week off - forcing him to miss the final counting event to decide the European Ryder Cup team, the BMW International in Munich - to support his Junior Classic Series.
