RECENTLY, I applied for Vehicle Watch Car window stickers at Blackburn central police station but none was available.
I was told that they didn't seem to have had any for quite some time and that they couldn't say when there would be any more.
Evidently, the scheme has been allowed to fizzle out. Has there been a feasibility study to determine whether the exercise was worthwhile or a failure?
Whatever the result, the stock of stickers was exhausted by discerning motorists. Do they consider the scheme to have been worthwhile?

FOOTNOTE: If a local police station has run out of stickers, people can register for the scheme by contacting the community safety and partnership department at headquarters on 01772 618372.
