RECEIVERS were this weekend working through the accounts of a collapsed building firm.
Rawlings Bros Construction Ltd, based at Accrington Road, Intack, went into receivership this week.
It is understood around 20 people were employed at the Blackburn site and a number have been laid off by the receivers.
The firm was involved with a number of housing refurbishment schemes for councils and other organisations throughout the country.
Coopers & Lybrand, the firm appointed as joint administrative receivers, said no-one would be available to comment on the situation until Monday.
