FORGET the glamorous Hollywood hills. Wide-eyed tourists are invited to embark on a journey around the famous film sets of Lancashire!
Travel company Goldenrail is offering celebrity seekers the chance to see locations from hit BBC shows Last Of The Summer Wine and Hetty Wainthrop Investigates.
And the £85 tours include a night at Burnley's equivalent of the Beverley Hills Hotel, The Friendly Inn, near to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph offices in Keirby Walk.
A spokesman for Goldenrail said: "You may not believe it, but Lancashire's Hill Country boasts some surprises from the world of television. "This is an ideal opportunity to visit them."
Among highlights of the tours, which take place on September 20 and 21, are a visit to Holmfirth, just over the Yorkshire border.
Attractions include Sid's Cafe, Nora Batty's Steps and White Horse Inn from Last Of The Summer Wine and a visit to Hetty Wainthrop's fictional first-series town of Upper Darwen as well as the real life sights of Padiham, which double as Blainthorpe.
The spokesman said: "The tours also offer a guide who will reveal the history of Nora Batty, Compo and Clegg."
But bosses at Universal Studios tour need not worry.
The spokesman added: "There are still plenty of places left on the tour. It seems nobody wants to go!"
