THE people of Jamaica have joined those praying on behalf of student hostage Paul Wells.
The Rev John Cree, vicar of Immanuel, Feniscowles, has just returned from the country where he asked the people of the churches there to pray for Paul, 26, of Bracken Close, Feniscowles, Blackburn.
A spokesman said: "Mr Cree conducted Bible-teaching sessions in churches.
"He asked the people of the churches to hold Paul Wells and his family in their prayers. This they promised to do."
Paul was captured by Kashmiri militants calling themselves Al Faran in July 1995.
