WING wizard Lee Penkywicz spurred Leigh East to a super 34-22 win against Cumbrian giants Millom.
First-half tries from Sam Horne and Tony Gredecci and three goals from Tim Fletcher gave East a healthy half-time lead.
But Millom hit back to level and looked to be getting on top before the Penky special, racing in from 60 yards for a sensational try.
Further tries followed from Gredecci and MoM Gary Pendlebury, and, although Millom responded deep into injury time, they were by then a well beaten side.
A fine display by East with Pendelbury having good support from Stuart Pugsley, Tim Fletcher and Tony Sanderson.
