FOREIGN students Julian Quintero and Kazuya Yoshikai share more than the fact they're exactly the same age - they're both homeless.
The 17-year-old boys, who share the same birthday, travelled thousands of miles to study at Hutton Grammar School and live in the Preston or South Ribble area for a year.
But a complicated mix-up of families changing their minds at the last minute and temporary accommodation has left both without a roof over their heads.
Local EF Foundation Co-ordinator Malcolm Horden - who is responsible for finding homes and has looked after many students himself - said people could benefit a lot from giving the students a roof over their heads while they study.
He said: "They're in temporary accommodation at the moment but desperately need somewhere to stay, and soon.
"It's great to talk to them. You can find out about their culture and what they think of ours. Anyone who likes teenagers will enjoy it. All we ask is thay host families are able to give them food and a bed."
Music-loving Julian is in a band back home in Columbia where he plays the guitar and bright Kazuya from Japan is a promising young student. The pair may have to break off from their studies and move to another part of England.
Anyone who can offer Julian or Kazuya a home should call Malcolm on (01772) 626343.
