IT'S time to put on your dancing shoes and head for Sutton Community Leisure Centre, Eltonhead Road, on Sunday, September 21, and help the charity, Childline.
For the Star, in conjunction with Keith and Marie Morris of Silhouette Dance Club of Boundary Road, are presenting a day of Freestyle and Rock & Roll competitions starting at 10am.
This competition will feature the following:
Rock & Roll Section: Under-10s (sponsored by Charades Fancy Dress, Vincent Street, St Helens); under-12s (first prize sponsored by Campbell Insurances, Menlove Avenue, Allerton, Liverpool); (second prize sponsored by Fanfare Carpets, North Road, St. Helens); under 14 (first prize sponsored by Campbell Insurances);(second prize sponsored by Fanfare Carpets); under-16s (first prize sponsored by Campbell Insurances).

The adjudicators will be: - Debbie Cook, Jeff Walker, John Foulds and Paul Critchley.
Scrutineers are David Hogg and Suzanne Morro. Brendan Campbell will be the DJ, and Keith Morris, co-proprietor of the Silhouette Dance Club, Boundary Road, St Helens and co-organiser of this event, will be the compere.
The competition will be held under ADFP & BCBD rules.
