AS HOME seekers view an upmarket development show house, conservationists are still trying to have the site it's built on accepted as a village green.
Leigh's Wesley Guild Preservation Group expect the hearing to decide on the village green application to be heard at the end of this month.
It should have been held in June but the Group objected to the hearing panel selection choice. A new panel has been picked.
A Group spokesman said:"If the application is successful law would require the builder to remove the houses and restore the land to its original state."
