BURNLEY Golf Club members Andy Howes and Mike Ramsden scored a memorable victory when they qualified to play at St Andrews in the Famous Grouse Shotgun Foursomes.
The pair shot a superb sub-par 70 to win the club competition and their names came out of the hat to qualify for the international final at the beginning of October.
As part of the trip to the home of golf the Burnley players will stay in Rusack's Hotel which overlooks the historic 18th green and the first fairway of the Old Course. Their visit will include a tour of the clubhouse and trophy room at the club.
