A CONVOY of New Age travellers settled at Pickup Bank, near Hoddlesden, after a night of chaos on the East Lancashire roads.

More than 100 vehicles converged on the area in preparation for a music festival and nearby roads were being guarded by police eager to stop more travellers joining the makeshift camp.

Travellers insisted they would move on after the planned music festival.
