BLACKBURN, Darwen and Ribble Valley magistrates are inviting members of the public to visit the courthouse on Northgate, Blackburn on October 25.
It will be the first open day at the Blackburn court, and guided tours of the building will include the cells and the opportunity to see a court in action.
There will also be exhibitions by other court users, such as Victim Support and the probation service.
Magistrates and court staff will answer questions about the lay magistracy and the work of the courts.
The courthouse will be open from 10am to 1pm.
