I DO not agree with your comments in 'Royal family gets public's mood wrong - yet again' (LET, Opinion, September 4).

Everyone has their own personal way of coping with bereavement, I, for one, have had the terrible experience of losing my father and mother in their mid-fifties within 18 months of one another.

The last thing I wanted was to share my grief with anyone other than family and closest friends.

The time to share grief was when the funeral was in procession. Then, the world was able to share the grief with not only the royal family but Diana's family as well!
