LANCASHIRE Hawks aim to bounce back from their opening day mauling against Kingston when they take on Murrayfield Royals twice in two days.
After losing 7-2 at Blackburn Arena last Sunday, Jim Pennycook's side will be looking to give their loyal fans something to cheer about when the Scottish outfit come to town on Saturday (6pm) for the Autumn Cup clash.
With imports Adrian Lomonaco and Jeff Daniels from Canada, and Finish defender Mikka Pyynnonen only arriving at the club towards the end of last week, the players are still adjusting to playing together.
Player-coach Pennycook said: "We have only had two training sessions together with the overseas players and went into last Sunday's clash without having played a single warm-up match.
"But I am confident we can have a successful season. We have a stronger squad than last season and although fans may have to wait a few days longer to see the real Hawks. Once we get going we can make rapid progress."
Hawks travel up to Murrayfield on Sunday for the return clash.
