BUILDER Colin Rushton was battling with the Home Office in a bid to be reunited with his Filipino wife and nine-month-old daughter.
The Home Office were refusing to allow Marquerita and little Abigail Doreen to live in Britain because Colin was unemployed and they claimed could not support them.
Colin, 38, of Haslingden, married Marquerita, 36, three years before in the Philippines.
