SPRECHEN sie Deutsche? One person who certainly does is Bury schoolboy Andrew Brady.
And his grasp of the language has earned him a highly impressive 'A' grade after passing his German GCSE with flying colours - at the age of only twelve!
His achievement has delighted family and friends together with staff at Elton High School which he attends.
The Year Seven pupil, who lives in Brandlesholme, massively exceeded expectations when he was entered into the GCSE exam.
Andrew had spent time with his family in Switzerland where he gained a sound knowledge of the German language.
This experience was allied to tuition by Mrs Susan Evans, Elton High's head of modern foreign languages, who supported Andrew in his unique achievement.
