THE Pirates of Penzance are in search of swords as they prepare to take to the stage in Burnley next month.
The area's Gilbert and Sullivan Society has put out a plea for cutlasses to equip actors in the comic opera, which starts its run at the Mechanics on October 20.
"We would be very grateful to anyone who could put us in touch with someone who can help," said society chairman Trevor Riley.
