REPLYING to a front page story (LET, August 29) about kerb crawlers, Montague Estate is not the only estate bothered by this problem.
It happens in Duckworth Street, Canterbury Street, Byrom Street and Whalley Banks.
I don't mind the ladies of the night, but the kerb crawlers are a nuisance.
My daughter went on Whalley Banks the other night to shop and was accosted. And a pimp was sitting on a step leading to a maisonette and all you get when you tell them to go is a lot of abuse.
I would like to know what the police are doing.
Name and address received.
