ON a recent visit to MFI at Blackburn to complain about a faulty item I had bought, my wife and I spent what seemed like ages, arguing over a certain amount of money.
When things came to deadlock, I turned to the rep and said: "Well, where do we go from here?"
He looked at me and I looked at him. Then, my son of seven years turned to us both and said: "B and Q, Dad."
This completely defused the situation with laughter - and I got my money.
