FIRMS preparing to bid for a slice of a multi-million contract market are being offered a helping hand.
The East Lancashire Promotions Partnership will be exhibiting with a number of East Lancashire firms at SUBCON '98 aimed at the sub-contracting industries.
It will be the third time that the ELPP has exhibited at SUBCON and substantial orders have been secured by local companies as a result.
Firms are able to take in the exhibition at reduced costs thanks to financial support through the European Regional Development fund.
Huncoat-based Dale Polymers, which took part in last year's event secured significant orders.
"SUBCON' 96 was our first exhibition and resulted in more than 100 genuine sales leads and fifteen new customers," said John Rowbottom, business manager.
Further details on taking part at next spring's event are available from Liz Demaison at ELPP on 01254 600615.
