IN reply to the views of Mrs K Livesey (Letters, September 10) and others on the tragic death of Her Royal Highness Princess Diana, I call her this because, in my opinion, she was the most royal person in that family.
She was conned by them into a marriage to a man who already loved someone else.
She did her duty and produced two sons who are lovely boys. And I am very proud of them, as I know she was.
That marriage nearly destroyed her. But she bounced back and got even.
No-one could or should have to put up with the constant eyes of the world on them but she did. Ask yourself could you stand it?
The family she married into did not treat her fairly. The Queen and all the rest never gave that beautiful woman one ounce of help or support.
I never really had much time for the Royal family now I have none at all, except for William and Harry.
May they grow up like their mother - and make her proud.
L McGUIFFORD (Mrs), Leopold Way, Blackburn.
