BRITAIN'S Carl Fogarty crashed out of both races in round 10 of the World Superbike Championship in Albacete to hand rival John Kocinski a massive advantage.
Kocinski stormed into a 52-point lead with victory in both races on his Honda in Spain today.
And now Foggy believes his title chances are in tatters.
"That's my championship over," he admitted.
"The first race crash was my fault but I could have done without that crazy Spanish rider hitting me on the first lap of the second race.
"Before this meeting I was in with a good chance of two wins and the title. Now I can forget it."
Fogarty lead in the early stages of the first race before being passed by Kocinski just after half-way in the 26 lap race.
Fogarty held a safe second place before slipping off with four laps to go to leave Kocinski's team-mate Aaron Slight in second with Kawasaki's Simon Crafar completing the top three. Kocinski led from the start of the second race but lost the lead for seven laps to Crafar before powering his way back into the lead on the 14th lap and victory never looked in doubt.
Fogarty was hit by Spanish Ducati rider Gregorio Lavilla on the opening lap of race two before bouncing back and climbing from 21st to 11th place only to crash for the second time in a day, on the 16th lap.
That leaves Kocinski with a commanding lead with two rounds remaining in the 12-round series.
Burnley's Neil Hodgson was unplaced in the first race and finished eighth in the second.
