IT did not surprise me that millions of people showed their love for Princess Diana, because she gave selflessly to others.
Her enthusiasm and commitment to helping many deserving causes should now be followed by all those who have shown such emotion at her loss.
You don't need to be a princess or Mother Teresa to do good works for others, but just have the will to start! There are hundreds of opportunities here in East Lancashire for young and old to devote their leisure time to community projects. Why not take that first step now?
