ONE of our most prominent politicians said that there is no such thing as society.
Tragic events over the past weeks have proved her wrong.
Many who believed, like Diana, in society were branded as criminals and treated accordingly.
There is a chance to start again.
In our own area, in regard to the changes proposed at Rossendale General Hospital, the people should give our staff any support they require. For there is no more important thing in society than a first-rate hospital.
