ANTI-MOTORWAY protesters were celebrating after Government experts ruled out an eastward extension to the M65.
A Department of Transport report ignored the proposed motorway route which would have cut through Colne, Winewall and Laneshawbridge.
Instead, it suggested building a new dual carriageway to act as a Colne-Foulridge bypass.
