Bold Miners 41 Kirkholt 21 MINERS roared back from a 10-point deficit to comfortably take the spoils.
Kirkholt took the lead with two impressive tries -one a brilliant 80-yard effort.
But a purple patch before half-time brought Bold 21 points before the break. Mark Rigby scored the best of the tries, finishing off a 12-man passing move to score in the corner.
Bold's control came throught the dominance of forwards Dave Davies, John Travis, Nick Joseph and John Mayor.
Dave Scott sidestepped over for a great invidual try after another fine effort from teenager Phil Hewitt.
Other try scorers were John Travis (2), Dave Davies, John Mayor and Mark Rigby. Wayne Graham added four goals and Gary Talbot one. Dave Scott landed a drop goal.
Nick Joseph took the Grundy Excavations man of the match award and others in form were John Travis, Ricky Mayor, Mark Saunders and Chris Andrews.
