A LEIGH car dealership is offering £300 "no questions asked" to anyone who can supply them with the names and addresses of yobs who have been targeting the firm and stealing vehicle parts.
Hooper's car sales in Wigan Road has suffered a series of attacks in the past three months with thefts and damage costing them thousands of pounds.
Now they have had enough and are determined to stamp out the attacks which they believe are caused by gangs of local teenagers.
Manager Chris Manning said: "We have taken all we intend to take and we now intend to get tough. Police have promised to increase patrols but we are taking our own initiative and are offering a £300 reward with no questions asked to anyone who can give us proof, including names and addresses, of those responsible for the attacks.
"It isn't just ourselves who are being targeted, it's an on-going problem throughout the area. We are sure we already know who is doing this but we just need the proof, and I am confident we will get it. It's time these yobs were stopped!"
Supr Malcolm Howells, head of Leigh Police, said they were working with the community in a bid to solve the problems experienced by Hoopers.
Anyone with information can contact local police or ring Hooper's direct on 01942 602931.
