I FEEL I had to write after reading your report (LET, September 22) about the tenant and his girlfriend who have accepted eviction from Larkhill Flats in Blackburn for the sake of their dog, which they say is better behaved than some humans in the neighbourhood.
I have been to Larkhill Flats and must say the noise and smell is those flats was worse than any dog could make.
There was a strong smell of urine in the lifts. There was vomit on the ground floor. The noise was unbearable.
Before they get rid of people with animals, they should remember that this dog is their five-year-old child.
What would happen if the council said: "Yes, you can have a flat, but only if you put your baby in a home or have it adopted?"
