MULTI-millionaire Dave Whelan has offered a £5,000 reward to anybody who comes forward with information leading to the arrest and conviction of masked raiders who put his wife through a terrifying ordeal.
The former Blackburn Rovers player wants the three men brought to justice for breaking into his home and tying up his wife Patricia, before stripping her of about £50,000 of jewellery.
The raid happened at 8.30pm on Monday, September 22, at Manor House, Parbold. Mr Whelan, the boss of the JJB sporting empire, arrived home an hour later and struggled with the robbers, who fled.
Anybody with information should call Skelmersdale police on 01695 724101.
