SUTTON finished their season with mixed fortunes, being outplayed by Rainhill on Saturday but bouncing back to defeat Wirral on Sunday.
On Sunday Sutton batted first and cracking half centuries by Mike Rimmer and Dave Hogson saw a commanding 190-4 posted in 42 overs.
Steve Brimelow (37) and Steve Wearden were also in good form with the bat.
Wirral had come for a game and threw the bat with Hemstalk and Hargreaves lashing 45 each.
However Sutton were not to be denied and with three wickets for Reynolds and two for Greener and Barnett the visitors were dismissed for 164 despite the number eleven smashing the clubhouse window with a huge 6.
