POLICE are looking for a man who tried to kidnap a woman in Morecambe. The kidnap bid happened in the early hours of September 3 when a 25-year-old woman walking along Morecambe Street was grabbed from behind as she entered Morecambe Town Mews. The attacker dragged her backwards and pulled her to the floor but fled when she and a passing witness began to scream. He made his escape down Back Morecambe Street. He is described as a tanned, white male aged around 25 to 30. He was clean shaven with black hair cut into a wedge style and had a mole or large spot on his cheek. He was wearing black trousers, anorak and trainers.
