CHEEKY thieves hopped over the back yard of a house in Leigh and stole a three months old Norwegian Dwarf rabbit belonging to a three years old boy.
They broke open the rabbit hutch in the yard in Bow Road, close to Dootson's Park, and made off with the three months old blue-grey animal with a distinctive white nose, named "Peter" by its tiny owner Jordan Tomlinson.
His mum Janet commented: "Jordan has only had his pet for a month and he is heartbroken that someone has taken it. We are appealing for anyone who knows where "Peter" is to contact us. We are prepared to offer a reward. I can't believe the nerve of people who dare to do things like this!"
Anyone who can help is asked to contact Janet on 01942 702574.
