OVER the past few months, you have published numerous letters concerning traffic calming in Hyndburn and the part Coun George Slynn has played in these measures.
Well, I believe the long-suffering travelling public of Hyndburn could be in for a rest from George's obsession.
I have heard on the grapevine that George may be leaving Hyndburn and taking up a consultancy in Nevada, USA.
It appears that the Governor of Nevada is sick and tired of some chaps from Bamber Bridge charging up and down the desert at 750mph and he wants George to install traffic calming measures to put a stop to it.
