A NATIONAL sportswear chain is to open a new store in Accrington creating seven new jobs.
Allsports, an independent retailer of sportswear and equipment, will be opening their doors in the Arndale shopping centre on Wednesday, October 29.
Staff have already been recruited for the new store, part of a major expansion and investment programme by the company which has more than 220 branches nationwide.
Marketing manager David Giles said: "We want to show the people of Accrington that not only will allsports provide jobs for people in the area but that we have our own unique style of retailing that we are very proud of.
"Allsports is undergoing a large investment programme which aims to bring our stores to people across the country and is delighted to have the opportunity to invest in Accrington."
