MANAGEMENT at Matthew Brown issued a "no redundancy" pledge to workers at a mass meeting.
The assurances ended days of uncertainty at the Blackburn brewery after workers rowed over levels of shopfloor support in the firm's takeover battle. The workforce backed their bosses in the fight for independence with Scottish and Newcastle, while Blackburn MP predicted job losses if S and N won.
