JUST over 12 months ago I left Larkhill Flats in Blackburn, after being burgled twice in a month. But when I went back to the block I lived in - Ribble House - never have I seen a block deteriorate so much.

The lift was filthy and had not been cleaned for two days. In the Pendle block, again there was a filthy lift, with cheese and urine on the floor. Both blocks had an unclean smell.

All this, it seems, is because of changes of the caretakers' rota and them not living on the premises.

You have only to visit our three blocks at Daisyfield to see the difference - three clean blocks with a good, healthy smell, plus the main thing: good, decent tenants.
