BRADSHAWGATE businessman Gordon Jackson welcomed the Xanadu project.
"Here we have the chance of some inward investment and the spin-off from Xanadu is going to create a bouyant town centre.
"We have already had multiples enquiring about sites in Leigh - on the back of Xanadu.
'I want Leigh to be on the map. Let's get where we should be and give people the future they deserve. Xanadu will bring Leigh back to being a thriving shopping town."
And he too warned: "If you turn this opportunity down it will be the end of Leigh."
