IN its bid to prove it is bigger and better than anyone else Leigh Round table has joined forces with the new Sainsbury's supermarket to present a Firework Fantasia at Hilton Park on Wednesday, November 5.
The ground of Leigh Centurions RL Club opens its gates at 5.45pm for an evening of entertainment which Leigh Round Table spokesman Allan Wort said 'will be the biggest event of its kind in the North West this year.'
DJ Dave Swanton sets the mood at 6pm before Trumble the Clown sets yopu laughing. And at 7pm there will be Early Birds Fireworks setting the scene before the countdown to the big fantasia by guest of honour Fred Dibnah at 7.30pm.
A family ticket which admits two adults and two children under 16 years old will cost £7, with a single ticket costing £2.50 in advance or £3 on the night, with children under three free. Food will also be available on the night.
It is the 18th year that Leigh Round table have held the event, and Allan added: "Without doubt this is going to be the biggest and best event of its kind anywhere and we are delighted that Sainsbury's in Leigh have joined forces with us this year to make it even more special."
